Summer Training Camp for poor students

During long summers, children may forget many of the lessons they learned from the prior school year -- particularly low-income children who may have access to few enrichment activities. Summer programs can help boost achievement in their education & further decent behaviour. By this way the students of poor community get an opportunity to enhance their soft skills also emphasising on personality development and health awareness. Activities such as yoga like suryanamskar, chanting of prayers, meditation also part of these camps. Along with that storytelling and role plays are also organised letting them play specially designed games to check emotional quotient and social awareness of the students.

In our observation, many summer camps take place during summer vacation. Attending to them become tough for the students of the poor family background, because of financial reasons as these camps are expensive. Therefore the NGO has decided to organize the camp without charging any fee from the students and it should be continued every year regularly. The camp started in the month of 5^th April, 2017 and continued.

Computer Course for poor Students

There are different diploma courses with one and half month, three months & six months duration we introduced to our needy & poor student at a nominal fee structure decided by the governing body of the organization, where to keep survive the unit and to draw proper value and importance of the students about such initiative, it is necessary to charge something as their contribution. If everything gets free, we are sure it will definitely be our useless initiative as it is becoming a common trend of poor communities that free things are valueless. Keeping this condition in mind, the NGO through its computer institute situated at Lakhni Taluka of Bhandara District, Maharashtra charging 25% of total fee structure and 75% is provided by its own surplus income. It is a year rounded activity of the organization running by two qualified and trained professional. Apart from computer training for unemployed, we also conducted a set of six batches computer courses for the poor children belong to the villages under Lakhni Taluka.
