Paryay Bahu-uddeshiya Sanstha (PARYAY) is a grass root level, secular and development oriented not for profit organization popularly known as Paryay, which is convinced that sustainable community development is only possible if and when all elements such as economic, social, political, environmental and cultural are brought together and systematically integrated. Community development is feasible only if all segments of the society are mobilized weaker women, widows who are not treated equally, marginal farmers jobless youth, poor children who do not receive any education!! To catalyze socioeconomic change through education of underprivileged children, we must contribute our efforts as much as we can after doing due diligence!! The need is so great and hence the myriad solutions to it in the form of several NGOs approaching the problem of illiteracy in India from various angles. As for PARYAY for education, the differentiating factor is that we are cent-percent volunteer operated in a non-hierarchical structure. All members participate in all decision making discussion as equal. At the chapter level we are a small organization in itself – a model of a participatory democracy in action. PARYAY volunteers are committed to upholding that principle while we work for our cause.

Trees provide us with so many things necessary for survival like air, clean water, and food.  They also provide us with hope and insight, courage to preserver – even in the harshest conditions.  Trees and the way they interact within their ecosystem teach so much while they inspire us to soar to great heights. Please protect them and plant more trees, save the planet and protect it from increasing global warming.

Useful comparable, historical prevalence figures are hard to come by, but it appears that the incidence of disability among children and adolescents has risen over a period of thirty years. This apparent rise has several contributing factors: It is, at least partly, due to medical and social advances enabling severely disabled infants to survive, as well as prolonging their life expectancy. There has also been an increase in diagnosis rates for most of the conditions that cause childhood disability. There is also likely to have been an increase in the reporting of disability through enhanced knowledge among the general population, medical, teaching and social care professions. When considering developmental delay and possible disability in the child, it is worth remembering that development does not progress in a linear fashion but in uneven steps.
