A brief about PARYAY

State of Maharashtra,
where PARYAY is active presently

Paryay Bahu-uddeshiya Sanstha (PARYAY) is working since last one decade in field with its dedication, but formally it had been registered in the year 2014 under Indian Societies Act, 1860 and Bombay Trust Act.1950 as per the Govt. rules, which follows a gradual and tangible path with the aim of improving people’s lives. This is achieved through holding a clear vision and defining advanced strategies in light of the requirements that accompany change. Hence, PARYAY provided the platform with concrete presence on State arenas. In this respect, PARYAY tackled the most important and sensible issues, such as development (in its different dimensions), within permanent programs and other portfolios that include democratic transformation, socioeconomic reforms and poverty. Thus, by embracing poverty and working on achieving them in the region ultimately, PARYAY embodies the concept of partnership for development. Furthermore, the institute is the way to be a major player in the social and economic transformations in the country.

PARYAY believes that integration is one of the key words of development approach, the experience and knowledge of the past years have convinced the organization about the importance of interdependence and integration. To better understand the rationale and the importance of this close “integration” in the process of community development, it is important to keep in mind PARYAY’s rules of development, as these rules are the outcome of an in depth reflection on its work. “Action- Reflection- Action” well explains our concept of “integration”. A drinking water well, watershed management, Farmers groups, Women groups, various development committees, the mobilization of the youth as agents of change in their communities, collectively trigger and provide a fertile ground for a new mindset that will nourish the villagers’ motivation for a development that is rooted within the community itself.
